Bengkung Belly Binding

Traditional Malaysian style

Traditional herbs for healing during postpartum

About

Bengkung belly binding has been a practice held by many cultures for hundreds of years. Specifically in Malaysia they have practiced this tradition and encourage new moms to wear it for the first 44 days. This sacred tradition helps new moms physically and mentally.   Malaysian women often believe health starts from the womb and to take care of it in all stages of life but especially after birth.
